The Cloud Connector requires power on site. To forward readings, it must be online and within wireless reach of the sensors. The cellular/Ethernet model requires an additional paid Connector subscription. Under the current subscription model, Ethernet-only Cloud Connectors do not require their own Connector subscription; sensor subscriptions remain necessary.
