Cloud · Studio

Connect readings.
Understand histories.

From the sensor through the Cloud Connector to the cloud. Transmitted temperature readings appear in Studio, the Disruptive Technologies web interface.

01 · Sensor

Measures temperature and transmits via SecureDataShot™ radio.

02 · Cloud Connector

Receives sensor readings and forwards them through its cellular or Ethernet connection, depending on model and equipment.

03 · Cloud & Studio

The cloud receives the data. Your enabled project is accessible in Studio.

You need activated sensors, an online Cloud Connector and a suitable sensor subscription.

The actual interface

Your project.
In Studio.

The Project Dashboard visualises sensor data in cards. Individual sensors and multiple measurement points can be displayed there. Select measurement points and a time range to view temperature histories.

01 / SELECT PROJECT

Open Studio.

Use your enabled account to select the appropriate project and open the Project Dashboard. Devices must be assigned to the project and activated.

02 / CREATE CARD

Select measurement points.

Create a card for one or several temperature sensors. A Project Developer role or higher is required to create temperature cards.

03 / REVIEW TIME RANGE

Interpret temperatures.

Set the time range in the dashboard. Large single-sensor cards show histories; small single-sensor cards show numerical readings. Multi-sensor cards show temperature curves for comparison.

Single-sensor cards show the current reading and the minimum, maximum and average for the selected time range. Measurement position, thermal contact and operating conditions remain essential to interpretation.

Features in Studio

More than a chart.

Use these features in Studio by Disruptive Technologies with an active sensor subscription and the appropriate permissions.

View readings remotely.

View transmitted temperature readings and trends in your browser. Their freshness depends on the configured intervals and connectivity.

Configure sensors.

Set sampling and heartbeat intervals for your application. Applying sensor changes requires an available connection through the Cloud Connector.

Stay informed by email.

Studio lets you configure temperature thresholds and email notification rules, for example when readings rise above or fall below a chosen range.

Set up notifications in Studio with suitable project permissions. Notifications are based on transmitted sensor readings.

Understanding data availability

Transmit continuously.
Fill gaps later.

Choose the variant that suits your needs: regular transmission for connected measuring points or additional storage for offline periods.

With a connector within reach.

Both variants transmit regularly to Studio when connected. Keep track of your measuring points remotely.

View the temperature sensor

After an offline period.

The logger with Data Backfill also stores readings locally and adds them to Studio once a stable connection is restored.

View the Data Backfill logger

After synchronisation, Data Backfill adds stored readings to your temperature history in Studio.

Analysis and documentation

Use your readings.
Share results.

From initial review to technical documentation, Studio makes transmitted temperature data available for further work.

Export CSV and Excel.

Export raw or aggregated readings for your analysis. The available period depends on your cloud storage plan.

PDF temperature reports.

Create a PDF temperature report for up to ten temperature sensors in Studio and download the results for further documentation.

Integrate with your systems.

REST APIs and webhooks enable integration with your own applications. Setup and development of an integration are additional services.

Cloud und Studio werden von Disruptive Technologies bereitgestellt. Die Funktionen setzen aktivierte Geräte, den passenden Service und entsprechende Benutzerrechte voraus.

Equipment and recurring services

What the solution
includes.

Hardware is purchased once. Recurring cloud services depend on the sensors and the Cloud Connector model.

Cloud transmission and Studio require a paid sensor subscription from Disruptive Technologies. Your quote includes the terms.

Hardware and recurring services
HardwareSensors, Cloud Connector and pipe mounts where needed
Sensor subscriptionPaid subscription for each activated sensor, for both variants
Cellular/Ethernet ConnectorAdditional paid Connector subscription
Ethernet-only ConnectorNo separate Connector subscription; sensor subscriptions remain necessary
Cloud history31 days by default; up to three years with an additional paid storage option

Extended Data Storage: up to three years of cloud history from activation. Separate from local Data Backfill storage.

Your quote lists hardware, subscriptions, terms and optional services separately.
