Heating and cooling pipes
Review surface temperature histories at selected pipe measurement points.
Compare temperature histories on heating and cooling pipes and in rooms. Gain a better understanding of operating times, comfort and changes in everyday building use.
Illustrative example with fictional readings.
Reveal temperature patterns over time in buildings.
Review surface temperature histories at selected pipe measurement points.
Understand differences between rooms and between daytime and night-time operation.
Use measurement series before and after an adjustment to observe the change at the measurement point.
When does a room get warmer? How does pipe temperature change throughout the day? Comparable measurement points can reveal relationships over time. Interpretation takes account of usage, weather and system operation.
Temperature data can support technical analysis. On its own, it does not prove energy savings. Such an assessment also requires, for example, consumption data and suitable comparison conditions.
Choose a temperature sensor for continuous transmission or a logger with Backfill. At pipe measurement points, our own mount complements the setup.
Yes, the time series can be considered together. However, it must remain clear which quantity and position are being measured in each case. Differences between surface and air temperature must be considered in the evaluation.
The logger offered here measures and transmits temperatures. Automatic control requires additional control equipment and suitable integration, which are not part of this logger offering.
Without a connection, readings initially remain in local memory. Current cloud readings and notifications based on them are unavailable during this period. A continuous warning concept requires reliable online connectivity.
