Storage zones
View temperatures at different positions and compare areas.
Record temperature histories in storage areas and at selected stages of a logistics process. Gain insights into zones, transitions and changes over time.
Illustrative example with fictional readings.
Document the time history at relevant positions.
View temperatures at different positions and compare areas.
Use a suitable measurement to monitor selected periods and stages of a process.
For time-limited recordings, define storage needs and subsequent data transfer in advance.
Doors, external walls, airflows and measurement position can affect ambient temperature. Several carefully placed measurement points help reveal spatial differences. The number of sensors depends on the storage area and measurement objective.
Data Backfill can retain readings locally when disconnected. For mobile or changing locations, memory, time reference, a later stable connection and retrieval after use must all suit the task. The logger is not a USB device that can be read independently for an unlimited time.
For ongoing monitoring: a temperature sensor and a Cloud Connector within reach. After interruptions, the Backfill variant adds stored readings to the history.
The Data Backfill variant offered stores locally when disconnected. The duration is limited and depends on configuration. A subsequent stable connection to the Cloud Connector is required for backfill.
That depends on the goods, process and evidence required. Sensor, configuration, calibration, time reference and documentation are selected accordingly. No general guarantee for all supply chains is inferred from this.
Without a connection, readings initially remain in local memory. Current cloud readings and notifications based on them are unavailable during this period. A continuous warning concept requires reliable online connectivity.
